Curriculum Implementation
Through careful planning and the implementation of their curriculum vision subject staff provide learning opportunities that are ambitious and set high aspirations for all. Knowledge, skills and understanding build upon each other and link to prior and future learning. Guided practice enables students to embed concepts in long term memory. There is an emphasis on key vocabulary, literacy skills and the personal development of students. Employability skills, partnerships with the business community and the use of technology allows students to engage readily with the curriculum. We value our students as individuals and encourage them to explore their own areas of interest, take ownership of their learning to let their light shine.
